Product Introduction:
The ZPD245M is a highly integrated stepper motor driver developed based on a 32-bit high-performance ARM core. The driver uses discrete power components as the main drive circuit and employs current sensors for feedback, thus forming a current closed-loop system. The product offers stable performance and reliable long-term operation. It has been widely used in dispensing machines, screw machines, SMT equipment, and other applications. It can drive a full range of 20, 28, 35, 39, and 42 series two-phase stepper motors.

The ZPD245M is a new generation fully digital stepper motor driver that combines an advanced 32-bit control chip with a unique control circuit. It operates at a driving voltage of DC 20-50V and is compatible with various two-phase hybrid stepper motors with a current rating below 3.0A and an outer diameter of 42-57mm. The driver incorporates a circuit based on principles similar to servo control, which ensures smooth motor operation with minimal vibration and noise. Its positioning accuracy can reach up to 25,600 pulses per revolution. This product is widely used in medium and small-sized CNC equipment with high resolution, such as engraving machines, dispensing machines, screw driving machines, small CNC machine tools, and packaging machinery.

Precautions

  1. The input voltage must not exceed DC 50V;

  2. The input pulse signal is effective on the falling edge; control on the rising edge requires setting internal driver parameters;

  3. When the driver temperature exceeds 75°C, the driver stops working and the fault indicator ALM lights up. The driver must be powered on again to resume operation only after the temperature drops to 50°C. If overheating protection is triggered, please install a heat sink;

  4. If the overcurrent (load short circuit) fault indicator ALM lights up, please check the motor wiring and other short circuit faults. After troubleshooting, power must be reset to recover;

  5. If the no-motor fault indicator ALM lights up, please check the motor wiring. After troubleshooting, power must be reset to recover;

  6. For optimal matching and performance, please choose Spark stepper motors.
