ZPD268M is a two-phase stepper motor driver based on DSP control. It integrates an advanced DSP control chip with a unique control circuit to form a new generation of fully digital stepper motor driver. It operates at a driving voltage of DC24~80V (AC20~55V) and is compatible with various two-phase and three-phase hybrid stepper motors with a current rating below 6.0A and an outer diameter of 57~86mm. The driver utilizes a circuit based on principles similar to servo control, ensuring smooth motor operation with minimal vibration and noise. Its positioning accuracy can reach up to 20,000 pulses per revolution. This product is widely used in medium and small-scale CNC equipment with high resolution, such as engraving machines, small CNC machine tools, and packaging machinery.

Precautions

  1. The input voltage must not exceed DC 80V;

  2. The input control signal level is 5-24V. When the host device uses 24V level, connecting a 1K resistor in series helps improve anti-interference capability;

  3. The input pulse signal is active on the falling edge. For rising edge control, internal driver parameters need to be configured;

  4. When the driver temperature exceeds 75°C, the driver stops working and the fault indicator ALM lights up. The driver must be powered on again to resume operation after the temperature drops to 50°C. If overheating protection is triggered, please install a heat sink;

  5. If the overcurrent (load short-circuit) fault indicator ALM lights up, please check motor wiring and other short-circuit issues. After resolving the problem, power cycle the driver to restore operation;

  6. If the no-motor fault indicator ALM lights up, please check motor wiring. After resolving the issue, power cycle the driver to restore operation.
