The STD368M is a three-phase stepper motor driver utilizing DSP-based control. It represents a new generation of fully digital stepper motor drivers, integrating an advanced DSP control chip with a dedicated control circuit.

With a drive voltage range of DC 24-80V (AC 18-55V), it is compatible with a wide variety of three-phase hybrid stepper motor models. These motors must have a current rating below 6.0A and an outer diameter ranging from 57mm to 86mm.

The driver employs a circuit design based on principles similar to servo control. This advanced technology enables exceptionally smooth motor operation, characterized by minimal vibration and virtually no audible noise.

Furthermore, it offers high-precision positioning capability, achieving up to 60,000 pulses per revolution. This product is widely applicable in engraving machines, small CNC machine tools, packaging machinery, and other medium to small-sized CNC equipment that demands high resolution.

Precautions

  1. The maximum input voltage is DC 85V. Exceeding this voltage may cause damage;

  2. The input pulse signal is effective on the falling edge. For rising edge control, internal driver parameters must be set;

  3. When the driver temperature exceeds 75°C, it will stop working and the fault indicator ALM will light up. The driver will remain inactive until the temperature drops to 50°C, after which a power reset is required to resume operation. If overheating protection is triggered, please install a heat sink;

  4. If the overcurrent (load short circuit) fault indicator ALM lights up, please check the motor wiring and other short circuit faults. After resolving the issue, a power reset is required to restore operation;

  5. If the no-motor fault indicator ALM lights up, please check the motor wiring. After resolving the issue, a power reset is required to restore operation.
