Product Introduction:
This three-phase high-voltage stepper motor driver uses the advanced TI digital processing chip TMS320F28027 as the processing unit, and two closed-loop current sensors to achieve full closed-loop control of the motor current. The unique motor control algorithm ensures smooth motor operation, low vibration, and high precision. The driver can drive a series of high-voltage stepper motors, including 57 and 86 series motors. It is widely used in dispensing machines, non-standard automation equipment, and other devices requiring high speed.

ZPD3522M is a DSP-based three-phase stepper motor driver. It represents a new generation of digital stepper motor drivers that integrate an advanced DSP control chip with a three-phase inverter drive module. With a driving voltage of AC110~220V, it is compatible with various models of three-phase hybrid stepper motors having a current below 5.0A and an outer diameter of 57~110mm. The driver utilizes internal circuitry based on principles similar to servo control, ensuring smooth motor operation with virtually no vibration or noise. At high speeds, the motor's torque is significantly higher than that of two-phase and five-phase hybrid stepper motors. The positioning accuracy can reach up to 60,000 pulses per revolution. This product is widely used in high-resolution large and medium-sized CNC equipment such as engraving machines, medium-sized CNC machine tools, computerized embroidery machines, and packaging machinery.

● Uses opto-isolator devices for signal input/output coupling.
● Drive current is adjustable from 1.2A/phase to 5.0A/phase in 16 steps.

Precautions

  1. The input voltage is 220V. If the voltage exceeds 260V or is unstable, please use an isolation transformer or voltage regulator.

  2. The input pulse signal is active on the falling edge. If a rising edge active signal is required, please inform us in advance, and our company can make the corresponding modification.

  3. When the temperature exceeds 75 degrees Celsius, the driver will stop working and the fault indicator (ALM) will light up. The driver requires a power cycle to resume operation only after the temperature drops to 50 degrees Celsius. If overheating protection is triggered, please install a heatsink.

  4. If the overcurrent (load short circuit) fault indicator (ALM) lights up, please check the motor wiring and other potential short circuits. After resolving the issue, a power cycle is required to restore operation.

  5. If the no-motor fault indicator (ALM) lights up, please check the motor wiring. After resolving the issue, a power cycle is required to restore operation.
