Product Introduction

The ZPD356M is a next-generation, fully digital stepper motor driver. It is engineered by integrating an advanced DSP control chip with a unique proprietary control circuit.

Designed for a driving voltage range of DC 24-60V, it offers broad compatibility with various two-phase and three-phase hybrid stepper motors. This compatibility extends to motors with a current rating below 6.0A and an outer diameter of 42-57mm.

Internally, the driver incorporates a circuit based on servo-like control principles. This advanced technology enables exceptionally smooth motor operation, resulting in minimal vibration and almost no audible noise. Furthermore, it achieves high-precision positioning, capable of up to 12,000 pulses per revolution.

This product is ideally suited and widely used in medium and small-sized CNC equipment that demands high resolution. Typical applications include engraving machines, dispensing machines, screw fastening machines, small CNC machine tools, and packaging machinery.

Precautions

  1. The maximum input voltage is DC 80V. Exceeding this voltage may cause damage;

  2. The input pulse signal is effective on the falling edge. For rising edge control, internal driver parameters must be set;

  3. When the driver temperature exceeds 75°C, it will stop working and the fault indicator ALM will light up. The driver will remain inactive until the temperature drops to 50°C, after which a power reset is required to resume operation. If overheating protection is triggered, please install a heat sink;

  4. If the overcurrent (load short circuit) fault indicator ALM lights up, please check the motor wiring and other short circuit faults. After resolving the issue, a power reset is required to restore operation;

  5. If the no-motor fault indicator ALM lights up, please check the motor wiring. After resolving the issue, a power reset is required to restore operation.
