No.MS Series

MS series aluminum-housing three-phase asynchronous motors are developed based on the Y2 series motors. By incorporating aluminum alloy material in the housing, end shield, terminal box, and removable feet, the MS series offers an attractive appearance and smooth surface while maintaining the same dimensions and output power as the Y2 series.

These motors feature high efficiency and energy savings, high starting torque, excellent performance, low noise and vibration, compact design, high reliability, and ease of operation. The operating conditions of the MS series are identical to those of the Y2 series.

The efficiency class complies with the Chinese National Standard GB 18613-2012 Class III. Additionally, MS series motors are available in conformity with the IE3 efficiency standard to meet customer requirements.

MS Series Motors - Technical Specifications

1. Site Conditions
MS Series motors are suitable for most applications and environments. Standard operating conditions are:

  • Ambient Temperature: -20°C to +40°C

  • Maximum Altitude: 1000 meters

2. Temperature Rise & Insulation

  • Designed to Class F insulation standards (155°C).

  • Temperature rise testing is performed according to Class B insulation limits (80K).

  • This design ensures guaranteed motor service life and reliability.

3. Cooling & Ventilation

  • Standard cooling method: Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC).

  • Standard motors are equipped with an auxiliary flow plastic fan.

  • Compliant with IC411 as per IEC 60034-6.

4. Protection Level

  • Standard enclosure protection rating: IP55, suitable for dusty or damp environments.

  • Motors with higher protection grades are available upon request.

5. Motor Protection Options
Temperature and protection devices can be installed as required, including:

  • PTC thermistors

  • PT100 thermal sensors
    (for both windings and bearings)

6. Voltage & Frequency

  • Standard specification: 380V / 50Hz.

  • Motors can be designed for any voltage within the range of 200V to 660V, 50Hz.

  • Motors perform reliably with a supply voltage deviation of ±5% from the rated voltage.

7. Vibration

  • The vibration velocity level of MS series motors complies with Class A under no-load conditions.

  • Class B vibration grade motors are available upon special request.

8. Junction Box

  • The junction box is located either on the top or on the right-hand side of the frame for standard MS series motors.
